Aster Medcity in Kochi is the flagship hospital of Aster DM Healthcare, which also runs hospitals in Bangalore. It has 800 beds on a 40-acre campus, with eight specialty centres including cardiac sciences, neurosciences, oncology and women’s health. Its technology includes the da Vinci robotic surgery system and a 256-slice CT scanner. It was the first JCI-accredited quaternary care multispecialty hospital in Kerala, and brings together doctors from around the world on a campus that sits on the Periyar River.
